Eye Spy

Screenprint, relief print, and cyanotype on fabric panels, with appliqué and crochet elements. I cut apart and recombine source images, abstracting them through simplification, repetition, and layering. Disembodied facial features and limbs reference our physical mechanisms for perceiving the world. Manipulated text, language, and translation suggest the complexities of human thought and behavior.
