Mystic Mountains

This piece is a mixed medium of Acrylic and Oils. A texture was first applied with a "drawing" of acrylic lines onto the canvas. As I often drive through the rolling countryside hills of Wisconsin I am absolutely drawn to the misty morning where the fog hugs the valley of the hills. Such a beautiful sight that inspired this painting. It ended up turing into a more mountain scape.
